Volunteer Services

The "Corner Boutique" Gift Shop is operated by the JMHC Auxiliary, with all proceeds used for direct patient/resident care. The Auxiliary recently purchased a 50" Wide Screen, LCD TV and DVD Player for the Nursing Home Lobby. The Gift Shop is operated by volunteers who are members of the JMHC Auxiliary. The Auxiliary also hosts many fund raisers during the year, such as the Annual Christmas Bazaar, Pancake Breakfast, various Bake Sales, Rummage Sale, Uniform Sales, etc. If you are interested in a volunteer opportunity with the JMHC Auxiliary, please contact Diane Morford, JMHC, ; or e-mail at .

Hospital Auxiliary members provided the funding to upgrade the furnishings in the Hospital Lobby, and replaced the flooring, as well. Over the last three (3) years, the Auxiliary has raised over $35,000 to support the hospital. In spite of the economic downturn, last year's sales at the Corner Boutique were only down a little more than $600.00 from the previous year, signifying the hard work of the members, as well as the good will of the community.
